This photo looks across a large area of common landscaping (just dirt for the moment) toward the L'Spa site.
The entrance into the Maintenance room is shown under the pergola. This area will be heavily planted in the next two weeks and will feature palms and Passion Flower vines for the pergola.

Another wonderful discovery on our way home.a huge forge in Tonala for custom light fixtures, chandeliers, furniture and almost anything you can imagine made from metal or wood.
This Mesquite wood entertainment center will be finished in a medium stain and delivered to our place too.

30 cm of top-soil are used to cover the synthetic Multi-Mat 100 fabric. The next step is covering the topsoil and fabric with St. Augustine sod.

The hard edges of the entry building slowly start to retreat behind the major new plantings.
Workers start to place the Cicus vines and yellow Mandeville vines along the outer face of the entrance walls. Eventually the yellow walls will be completely covered in green vines and yellow flowers.

Five of the ten new palms are inside the gates, around the fountain area.
Workmen get ready to plant three African Tulip trees in an area behind the fountain. These beautiful trees sport brilliant orange flowers at this time. And will become very large, beautifully shaped shade trees in a few more years.
